Privacy Policy

Last updated October 6, 2026

Dinger is run by Big Little Business, LLC, a small family business. Privacy is personal to us, so we keep it personal for you. This page explains, in plain words, what Dinger keeps and why.

Our promise

What Dinger keeps

What Dinger does not collect

Your internet address is used for a moment to stop people from guessing passwords. Our server also keeps a short technical log so we can fix problems. We don't use either one to track you.

Who can see your Dingers

Only the people in your Dinger group. When you send a Dinger to your family or crew, they see it, because that's the point. Nobody else does, and we don't read your Dingers.

On Family and Business plans, the person who owns the group sees who is in it. Parents set up and manage their kids' accounts.

The few outside services Dinger uses

Dinger needs a little help from a few outside services to work. They get only what's needed for their one job:

When you talk to type a Dinger, your voice is turned into text right on our own server. It isn't sent to any outside company.

Keeping it safe

Everything between you and Dinger travels over an encrypted connection. Passwords are scrambled. Our server is in our own hands, and we keep it locked down.

How long we keep it, and deleting it

Your information stays as long as you have a Dinger account. You can delete any Dinger yourself at any time. To delete your whole account and everything in it, email us at [email protected] from the email address you signed up with. We'll take care of it and let you know when it's done.

If the law requires it

We'd only ever hand over information if we're legally required to, such as by a court order. We will never share it for any other reason.

Changes and questions

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date. If a change matters to how your information is used, we'll tell you in Dinger first.

Questions? Email us at [email protected]. A real person will answer.
